Lot-et-Garonne is a French department located in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, in the southwest of France. Its territory extends along the valleys of the Garonne and Lot rivers, bordered by the departments of Gironde, Dordogne, Lot, Tarn-et-Garonne and Gers. Its prefecture is the city of Agen, which serves as the main administrative and economic center of the territory.
