About Billère
The Billère town hall is the municipal institution of the commune of Billère, a French local authority located in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Billère lies within the Pau urban area, in immediate proximity to Pau, the prefecture of the department, of which it forms a neighbouring commune to the west. It belongs to the Communauté d'agglomération Pau Béarn Pyrénées, an intercommunal structure to which it has delegated certain competences while retaining its own municipal prerogatives.
As a basic territorial authority, the Billère town hall exercises the powers granted to French communes under the General Code of Local Authorities.
