The Department of Vosges is a French territorial authority belonging to the department category, an intermediate administrative tier within the country's territorial organization. Located in the Grand Est region, it takes its name from the mountain range that shapes much of its territory and is one of the founding departments established during the administrative reorganization following the French Revolution. Its administrative center is the city of Épinal, which hosts the main political and administrative institutions of the authority.
