The Mairie de Compiègne is the municipal administration of the commune of Compiègne, a French town located in the Oise department, in the Hauts-de-France region. It constitutes the executive body of the municipal local authority, responsible for implementing decisions made by the municipal council and managing local affairs on a daily basis. Compiègne, a historic town situated on the edge of the Compiègne forest and along the Oise river, has long maintained close ties with French royal and imperial power, giving the commune a notable architectural and historical heritage, including the imperial palace of Compiègne.
