Angers Loire Métropole is a French urban community, a form of intercommunal cooperation grouping several municipalities around the city of Angers, the prefecture of the Maine-et-Loire department in the Pays de la Loire region. Structured as a public establishment for intercommunal cooperation, it exercises competencies transferred by its member municipalities in order to carry out public policies at a broader scale than that of each individual commune.
