About Grand Annecy
Grand Annecy is a French intercommunal authority (communauté d'agglomération), a local government body governed under the legal framework for public establishments of intercommunal cooperation (EPCI). It was created on 1 January 2017 through the merger of the Communauté de l'agglomération d'Annecy with several neighbouring communities of communes, as part of the territorial reorganisations resulting from French local government reform laws.
