The town hall of Oullins is the municipal administration of the commune of Oullins, located within the Lyon metropolitan authority, in the Rhône department, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. Situated southwest of the Lyon urban area, on the left bank of the Yzeron river near its confluence with the Rhône, the commune is part of the metropolitan urban fabric while retaining a distinct identity shaped by its industrial and craft heritage. It is one of the constituent communes of the Lyon metropolitan authority, a territorial body with special status that exercises certain powers formerly held by the department within its area.
The Oullins town hall carries out the missions traditionally assigned to French municipal authorities: civil registry services, management of primary school facilities, local social action, urban planning and issuance of building permits, maintenance of municipal roads, and management of green spaces and municipal sporting and cultural facilities.
